Artist Feature | Cindy Loughridge

Cindy Loughridge is a lifestyle photographer based in San Francisco, CA, specializing in editorial, portrait, and wedding photography. Over the past 10 years, Cindy has documented her everyday, often shooting “nothing in particular” in order to find novel ways to turn the unremarkable into something more, and then applying those ideas to her client work.

Cindy credits online and local photography communities with helping her to hone her craft and to see more, and differently. She shoots both film and digital, and has a particular fondness for polaroids. Her photographic inspirations include Saul Leiter, Uta Barth, William Eggleston, and Jacques-Henri Lartigue.

“Rebecca Lily presets have been my go-to presets for my digital workflow and help me blend the look and feel of my digital images seamlessly with my film images. The tones are absolutely beautiful. Soft, bright, and with the right amount of contrast to re-create the look of film. I tend to favor the pastel presets – Apricot and Candy, La Femme – and the Audrey B&W. The Vignetting | Outer Glow tool is magical. I can’t wait to see what Rebecca creates next.”
